Matthew L. Walters

Mr. Walters joined the firm in August 2003 and became a shareholder in 2009.  He practices primarily in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis in employment law, fiduciary/probate disputes and ski industry litigation.

As a career-long member of Elam & Burke, Matt has developed an excellent reputation in Idaho state and federal district courts, which provides added value to the firm’s clients. In addition to his litigation practice, Matt works with his clients to avoid claims and lawsuits through thoughtful strategy, planning, and implementation of policies, including preparing non-compete/non-solicit agreements, employee handbooks, and severance agreements.
