United States: EEOC Takes First Step Toward Issuing Rules On Employer-Sponsored Wellness Plans

On March 20, 2015, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) announced its submission of a notice of proposed rulemaking (“NPRM”) on employer-sponsored wellness plans to the White House Office of Management and Budget (“OMB”) for review. Brazil: Chamber Of Deputies’ Full Bench Approves The Law On The Integration Of Disabled Persons

The legislative bill 7699/06 that institutes the Brazilian Law on Integration of the Disabled Person was approved by the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies during a session held on March, 5th. The bill formerly known as the Statute of Persons with Disabilities prescribes benefits and guarantees for disabled people and will be submitted for approval and analysis by the Federal Senate.
